Does this site set cookies?

This site sets no cookies of its own. We count page views and referrers with our own software on our own infrastructure, which sets no cookie and stores no identifier on your device. The only thing we store is a record of a consent choice, and only if we asked you to make one.

How we measure traffic without cookies

We count page views and referrers using our own software, running on our own infrastructure. It does not set a cookie, does not store an identifier on your device, and does not build a profile of you.

To avoid counting the same visit twice in a day, it derives a value from a rotating daily key. That value cannot be linked back to you, and it stops working as an identifier when the key rotates each day.

We deliberately do not collect your IP address, any device or advertising identifier, or your location.

What we store on your device

Only a record of a choice you made, and only if we asked you to make one. If this site ever runs a third-party tool that requires your consent, we ask first, and we remember your answer in your browser's local storage under arumaldo.consent. That entry holds your answer and the version of the notice you answered. It is not a cookie and it is not sent to other websites.

If you clear your browser storage, we will ask again.

Third-party tools

None are running on this site today. If that changes, they will be named here, and they will not load until you accept them. Declining leaves the site working exactly as it does now. Nothing is withheld for saying no, and the decline button is the same size and prominence as the accept button.

Changing your mind

You can withdraw a consent choice at any time by clearing your browser's site data for arumaldo.com, or by writing to hello@arumaldo.com. Withdrawing is as easy as consenting.
