Arumaldo

Service terms

These are Arumaldo's standard terms for the Business Website and One Page Website offers and for Digital Services work. Your signed scope and agreement govern your project; where that document and this page differ, your signed document applies.

Plain privacy and service-information pages may sit outside the marketing page count when the customer supplies approved text and they introduce no new design template, editorial research or legal drafting. A blog index and article template can be enabled when agreed; imported articles count toward the content-entry allowance unless separately scoped.

2. Excluded from both fixed offers

Brand development; extensive original copywriting; translation; unbounded content migration; ecommerce; member accounts; customer portals; custom booking or payment engines; complex integrations; bespoke application logic; SEO campaigns; and ongoing content work. An existing booking link is not the same as implementing a booking system.

Migration is audited before it is quoted. A small content transfer may fit the allowance; plugin replacement, large archives, multilingual migrations and complex redirect inventories require separate scope.

3. Acceptance and payment

  1. Arumaldo issues a written scope with the offer, the exact pages or sections, the content allowance, the renewal amount and date basis, the readiness requirements, a proposed production slot and the named approver.
  2. The customer accepts that scope and the initial payment clears. A payment screenshot is not confirmation of cleared funds.
  3. Payment reserves a conditional slot. It does not start production. If inputs miss the cutoff, the next available slot is reconfirmed before the project is marked Ready.
  4. The review and final-payment deadlines are scheduled before production starts. For a Business Website the balance invoice normally issues with the review-ready site at hour 48, with approval and payment due at the agreed checkpoint inside the customer's working day.
  5. Launch happens only when explicit approval of the production candidate and the final cleared payment are both recorded.
  6. The included infrastructure year begins on the actual launch date. The renewal is never charged again inside that included first year.

4. Ready for Production

Production begins only when every mandatory gate is Accepted, any optional gate is Accepted or justified as Not required, and Arumaldo explicitly confirms the booked start. The mandatory gates are scope, initial payment, company brief, final content, logo and brand assets, photography and media, domain and DNS access, technical credentials, migration readiness where applicable, a named approver, a production slot, and no blocking dependencies.

Submitted is not Accepted. Scope, payment, approver and schedule cannot be waived. A project whose inputs are complete but which is waiting for capacity is “Inputs complete, scheduled” and is not yet Ready for Production. Neither submitting a form nor making a payment starts any clock.

5. Delivery timing and holds

The Business Website period is 72 elapsed hours, not 72 working hours and not three business days; weekends do not automatically stop an active clock. The One Page Website period is one full scheduled business day, 9 am to 5 pm Panama time, Monday to Friday excluding closures disclosed at booking. Timestamps are recorded in UTC and shown in Panama time.

A hold is permitted only when a customer-dependent blocker prevents critical-path work: a missed agreed approval or payment deadline, revoked access, missing material previously represented as final, or a customer-requested scope change. Work continues on unaffected tasks. An unanswered incidental question is not a hold.

For a Business Website, the revised deadline is the original deadline plus the total of documented customer-hold durations. For a One Page Website, unused staffed hours move into the next agreed business window. Progress is never reset to a fresh 72 hours without a newly agreed scope and schedule.

Arumaldo does not pause the clock for its own overbooking, rework, ordinary implementation difficulty, failed deployments, maintenance or an unstaffed weekend. A provider incident is logged as an external cause, disclosed, and handled with a revised delivery plan where necessary; it is not reclassified as a customer hold. If a deadline passes and the site is not live, the original deadline stands in the record, delivery is marked late, and the customer receives a factual revised plan.

Delivery means a live site within the agreed interval when the customer's review and payment commitments are met. A staging link is not a live-site delivery. External DNS resolver caches can outlast a cutover; Arumaldo records when the configured production domain serves the correct site over HTTPS and discloses any remaining propagation.

6. Changes to scope

Work outside the accepted scope receives a written price and timeline change before it starts. Added scope may move the delivery date and may make a project ineligible for the 72-hour window; Arumaldo says so at the time rather than missing a deadline silently.

7. Cancellation

A cancellation receives an itemized reconciliation of work performed and authorized nonrecoverable costs, with any remaining unearned balance returned, subject to the signed agreement and applicable requirements. Arumaldo does not apply a blanket nonrefundable deposit clause and does not advertise an automatic refund guarantee or uptime credit. A launch delay caused by Arumaldo receives an honest explanation and a revised plan.

8. Ownership and portability

After full payment the customer receives the project-specific source code and owns the content and media they supplied or commissioned, to the extent the relevant rights allow. Arumaldo retains ownership of its pre-existing starter, tools and reusable components, and grants the customer continuing rights to use, modify and host those components as delivered with their website. Open-source packages, fonts, stock images and third-party services retain their own licences. The customer owns their domain registration. Arumaldo's provider accounts, shared automation and other clients' data are not part of the sale.

A portability package is provided on request through normal support, normally within five business days under ordinary conditions, with no separate standard export fee. It contains the project source, a structured content export, media with its manifest, configuration and DNS notes, a README with restore instructions, and, for a CMS project, a private database export delivered encrypted to the verified owner. Deployment onto a new provider, extensive reconfiguration and ongoing support there are separately scoped.

A static export covers supported public pages only: HTML, CSS, JavaScript and assets. It does not include a working admin, authentication, a live database, server-side forms, dynamic search, ecommerce or integrations, which require compatible hosting and services at the destination. No self-service export button and no universal HTML-export guarantee is offered.

9. Managed infrastructure

The first 12 months are part of the build price. Renewal is $500/year for a Business Website or $250/year for a One Page Website, payable annually before the launch anniversary. It covers hosting and HTTPS; the dedicated database for CMS sites; media storage and delivery; backups and their monitoring; availability checks; routine maintenance including vulnerability review and compatible patching; incident diagnosis and restoration within reasonable operating capacity; renewal administration; and the standard portability package on request.

It excludes redesigns, new pages, content edits or population, original copy, translation, new functionality, marketing, SEO retainers, ad spend, mailboxes, domain registration and renewal fees, third-party licences, premium analytics, mass email, paid integrations, ecommerce, major CMS or framework upgrade projects, and repair work caused by the customer beyond routine restoration. External domain, email recovery and platform verification are Digital Services engagements.

This is not unlimited hosting, unlimited changes, unlimited support or a guaranteed service level. Internal operating targets, not contractual guarantees, are up to 24 hours of potential data loss, support acknowledgement within one business day (9 am to 5 pm Panama time), and restoration of a routine recoverable failure within one business day after diagnosis, subject to provider availability. Arumaldo does not offer 24/7 human coverage.

Service allowances for planning are: for a Business Website, up to 1 GB of application data, 5 GB of live public media, 100 GB/month of public traffic and 1,000 enquiry submissions per month; for a One Page Website, 1 GB of live public media, 25 GB/month of traffic and 500 submissions per month. Use is reviewed and discussed at 70% and 90%; sustained excess is explained and quoted before extra capacity is added, never passed through as a surprise invoice. No video hosting, bulk downloads, high-volume API workload or file-sharing service is included.

Renewal and non-renewal notices are sent 30 and 7 days before expiry. Resources are not deleted automatically for non-payment; Arumaldo contacts the customer and follows the agreed notice terms, arranges a portability handover, an agreed service end date and a final backup. Default operational retention after termination is 30 days in private storage, confirmed before any irreversible deletion. No reinstatement or export fee is invented at offboarding.

10. Complimentary concepts

A complimentary initial homepage concept may be prepared for selected prospects for the $5,000 Business Website only, after qualification, and subject to fit and availability. It is not offered for the One Page Website. Qualifying does not guarantee selection. A concept is one homepage direction with illustrative content, clearly labelled as a concept, with scope confirmed separately. It is not a full site, includes no CMS, no revision rounds and no production deployment, and it is never published as portfolio work without the prospect's permission.

11. Digital Services

Digital Services work is assessed and quoted per job, and is a separate engagement from a website project. Where assessment requires paid diagnostic time, that cost is agreed before it is carried out. Third-party subscription, licence and registration charges are billed by those providers and shown separately. A website customer's annual renewal does not include Digital Services work.

Arumaldo does not guarantee domain or account recovery, platform verification, inbox placement or search ranking. Those outcomes are decided by registrars, providers and platforms. What is guaranteed is an agreed scope, documented changes and a verified result within that scope.

12. Customer responsibilities

The customer confirms that content, logos, photography and other material supplied to Arumaldo may lawfully be used for the website, and that factual claims on the site are accurate. The customer names one approver who can approve and pay, and agrees when that person is available to review. Authorized access to domains and services is provided through secure sharing.

13. Website enquiries

Submitting a form on this website creates an enquiry. It is not a booking, does not reserve a production slot, does not start a delivery clock and does not create a contract. A project begins with a written scope and its acceptance.
